Events:
Open(scaled): NO CrossFit or prior experience is required for open category. Open will include one workout with short running and several CrossFit type exercises for time, all in the sand. The top finishers in the first event will go to the Open Finals which will be another sand-based workout for time.
Elite(Rx): Elite athletes should be very familiar with CrossFit type lifts/movements and have a high level of fitness. One workout will be a strength event on or off the beach. The other workout will be a sand-based event with both runs and exercises for time. The athletes with the best combined places from workout 1 & 2 will compete in the Elite Finals. The Elite Finals will be a very demanding CrossFit type workout on the beach.
-Be ready for Anything, Anytime, Anywhere!
-Participants WILL get sandy and may get wet
-Exact course & events designed by experienced/certified CrossFit trainers & will not be revealed until the day of the event
-Post Race refreshments (for participants only) food & drink provided by The Back Porch
Cost: Individuals- $25 thru Jan 7th, $30 thru Feb 14th, $35 Feb 15th/16th
