The World's Longest Beach Run; 5K & Athlete Challenge
2/15/2014-2/17/2014 Destin, Florida
"The beaches at Destin are probably the most beautiful in the country. It was very surreal, the [24hr] race was one of the most challenging, grueling events I have run, yet every step of the way was absolutely beautiful." Connie Gardner, 2013-100 mile and 24hr National Champion4hr Run
RegiWelcome to the Destin Beach Ultra Runs! This is a race your ENTIRE family will want to attend with you! Who wouldn't want to spend a day at a great beach resort supporting their runners and a great cause?
In the past 3 years our runners have raised over $100,000 for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation to educate the children of our fallen spec ops heroes.
These running races takes place on the white sand beaches of Destin, Florida and next to the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. That's right, the entire races are in the sand!
-If you want to run a race like no other, in a location with beauty that can not be matched anywhere in the world...then this is your race!
-Bring your family and spend some vacation days at the start/finish. Just read what last year's runners had to say here.
-Maybe an ultra is not your style? Check out our 'Son of a Beach' events: 5K and Athlete Challenge.
